“Goodbye!”

Once, Jared went over to Granny's and found a bottle of arthritis pills on the kitchen counter. He examined the bottle and jokingly asked, “Granny, what would you do if I swallowed this entire bottle of pills?”

Very accustomed to Jared's nonsense, Granny didn’t look up. Without missing a beat, she said, “Goodbye!”

Jared could not stop laughing for several minutes, or really, ever.  ❐
