The Untitled Rye Project

The Untitled Rye Project was an idea that didn't involve Josh, but it should be documented and there really isn't a better place to put it.

The project was intended to be a culture website that reviewed and recommended music, books, films, art, theater, and essays. It was dreamt up by Jared, and he recruited Mariah P. to join. It was “named” (albeit, in an untitled way) after Mariah's nickname, Rye.

As was common with many of his ideas, Jared was the only one who wanted to put any effort into it. Mariah couldn't have cared less. Utimately, all the project turned out to be was a landing page website with a permanent “coming soon” message.

And, to be brutally honest, Jared just wanted the prestige of having the project — he had absolutely no desire to actually publish the content.  ❒
