When I was followed home

Josh M. is the title character of Josh and Jared's Clubhouse. He once told a story so gripping, Jared wanted to remember it forever.

I was leaving work one day, it was like late in the night. I probably got out around 7 pm from Chase [Bank].

I worked out in Homestead, and as I'm pulling out of the plaza, there's a gold SUV behind me. I don't think anything of it, I just start driving.

I go to US-1 to get on the Turnpike [Florida's Turnpike]. I look at my rearview mirror — the gold car is still behind me. Again, I don't think much of it.

As I'm driving down the Turnpike, I'm kind of, like, weaving my way in and out of traffic. This particular car is also weaving its way in and out of traffic. Again, still behind me.

Finally, I get to the exit, which is Kendall/[SW] 88th Street. I get off the exit; this car also gets off the exit. I make a left onto 88th; this car also makes a left onto 88th.

Now I'm starting to get a little suspicious, but again, I just keep driving. I'm starting to get towards my house.

I make a right into Winston Park. This car also makes a right into Winston Park.

As I'm driving closer to Winston Park Elementary School, there's a stop sign there. I stopped. The car also stops.

I make a left. This car also makes a left.

Now, there's two big left turns to get to my parents' house. When I make the first left, this car also makes the first left.

Now I'm getting nervous, so I'm like, okay, if if I make a left into my complex and this car does, too, I'm gonna call the police. So when I make a left into the complex, the car also makes a left.

I immediately grab my phone... and then I notice the car make a right turn at the first house.

And it was just my neighbor. We just coincidentally left Chase Homestead at the exact same time.  ❒
