Josh and Jared's original clubhouse

Much of Josh and Jared's time in drama class was spent completely idle. When they were able to leave the classroom, they enjoyed exploring the school, and one day they found a semi-abandoned area in front of the auditorium, under a flight of stairs. This area had a window and a counter that faced the courtyard outside, so presumably it was used as a ticket or refreshment booth at some point. The school seemed to have completely forgotten about it.

The guys didn't go to this hidden room often, but when they did, it became a sort of clubhouse. Once, they were screaming out random nonsense to hear it echo in the stairwell. When Jared yelled out, “Hello!”, they both heard a very quiet, high-pitched voice respond, “Hi.”

They were so scared, they never visited the clubhouse again.  ❒
