Beating up Tasha

A few times a week, Josh would go up to Tasha and name a random time that he planned to beat her up.

“At 1:37,” he might say, “I'm going to beat you up.” She would laugh and roll her eyes.

At 1:37 on the dot, no matter what may have been going on in class, Josh would stand up. He'd slowly walk over to Tasha's desk.

Without a word, he would start lightly pummeling her with his fists, in full view of everyone.

Tasha would open her mouth wide, in something between a smile and mock horror, looking around for help. Nobody paid attention. She secretly enjoyed it.

Then, Josh would sit back down as if nothing had happened and class would continue.  ❒
