“You're soda, mmm!”
“You're soda, mmm!” was a euphemism Jared used to tell Audrey she was so dumb. “Dumb” was a favorite catch-all insult or descriptor for nearly everything Jared and Audrey encountered, so calling her dumb was not necessarily as harsh as it may sound.
By telling Audrey that she was soda — and adding the interjection “mmm” — he added an element of plausible deniability to what could’ve been perceived as a punishable insult.
Like many other phrases in their shared universe, Audrey never returned the strategy, instead opting to call Jared dumb whenever she pleased. ❐
