The Meat

The Meat was a pseudonym Jared and Audrey gave to a fat, sweaty chef they saw cooking meat at Roadhouse Grill. Back when the restaurant chain was open, their family went there for dinner every once in a while.

By design, Roadhouse Grill had big viewing windows into the kitchen where you could see the cooks at work. The Meat was vigorously flipping and handling large steaks and other pieces of meat. Huge flames shot up around him as he cooked. Jared and Audrey felt that he must've been absolutely obsessed with utter MEAT.

They only saw him that one time and never again. It's not known why this one-shot character resonated in their minds for decades after.   ❐
