The Studamyasi

The Studamyasi [STU-duh-MY-uh-see] is what Jared and Audrey called their family housekeeper, whose real name was Reina (or Morena?).

She only came for a few years when they were in preschool, and didn’t come very often. But when she did, they would pop out and yell, “Ahhh! It’s the Studamyasi!”, then run away and hide.

It is unknown whether the housekeeper understood that she was being addressed in these encounters and what she may have thought about them.   ❐
