We were flying

Jared and Audrey loved watching Space Jam. One of their favorite activities to do as the movie was ending was to fly, just like Michael Jordan did as he reached out to score the winning basket in the movie's climactic moment.

They would perch themselves on the edge of the couch or armchair, gather their momentum, take off, and literally fly in the air before landing on an adjacent piece of furniture. The fitting song “Fly Like an Eagle” by Steve Miller would always set the mood in the background.

To the casual observer, it may have seemed like Jared and Audrey were merely jumping from couch to chair. Those people couldn't have been more wrong. The brothers were absolutely flying, which was well-documented even then.  ❐
