“Buhbuhbuhbuhbuhbuh” (lip movement)
When he was very little, Jared would close his lips together and open just one side of his mouth, and then the other, in rapid succession.
While doing so, he would make the sound “buh” from each side of the mouth over and over. Put together, it sounded like “buhbuhbuhbuhbuhbuh” (ad infinitum). He could do it for a few seconds, a few minutes, or even an hour.
It meant absolutely nothing and he had no reason for doing it. It was most likely a self-soothing technique. ❐
