“Can we go to Toys ‘R’ Us?”

Jared and Audrey grew up with so many hurricanes that they were often at Abi's house when a storm would hit.

In elementary school, there was one particularly bad hurricane that knocked out the electricity. Streets were flooded. Tree branches were knocked down. Jared, Audrey, Abi, and Papi were stuck in the house with nothing to do for many hours.

As the storm raged on, Jared grew bored. He turned to Abi.

“Can we go to Toys ‘R’ Us?” he asked.  ❐
